Foundation 18

Foundation 18 is a suite of humanitarian projects founded and funded by Aunty Cate, with the purpose of minimising the effects of human trafficking.

Cate Bolt established an orphanage and accompanying projects in the small village of Ringdikit, on the island of Bali in Indonesia, 2010 and has since dedicated much of her life, time and income to ensuring the welfare of children in the region. The Foundation runs a small group home for verified orphans, and outreach programs to assist severely disadvantaged children in the wider community.

  • Via our Education Outreach program we currently fund the education of 140 children, including providing food, clothing, health insurance, immunisations and emergency medical assistance.
  • Via our Open Kitchen program, we currently provide approximately 10,000 free meals each month to children who would otherwise go without.
  • Via our Elder Care program we currently provide housing, food and medical assistance to three elderly citizens without a living relative to help with their cost of living. We also arrange and finance their cremation at the time of their passing.

More recently we have expanded our operation to Malaysia where we are assisting the rehabilitation of survivors of human trafficking. This includes the provision of education, food, medical expenses, clothing and counselling.
